Sustainability & Philanthropy
Sustainability is important to Victoria Cronin Studio. Social and environmental sustainability is at the core of our work and considered at every stage of our business. All products are created, packaged and sold with the aim of being carbon neutral.
When designing we consider the full life cycle of our products and designs particularly with the sourcing of materials, but also the social sustainability of the craftsmanship and environmental impact of the entire production process. We aim to design projects and products that are timeless and hence long-lasting.
After studying Architecture, Victoria researched a PhD in Sustainable Development. She is acutely aware of the impact of having a safe and secure roof over one’s head. She has always created homes and previously worked to secure houses and basic water and sanitation infrastructure for slum-dwellers. Victoria believes strongly in supporting vulnerable communities, particularly those whose homes, basic living needs and livelihoods are under threat.

Shelter Associates, an Indian run NGO that works to improve the living conditions of the urban poor in India. Shelter Associates works in slums and informal settlements to provide technical support for, and facilitate access to, improved housing and essential services.
Dubai Cares aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all by supporting programs in early childhood development, access to quality primary and secondary education, technical and vocational education and training for youth as well as a particular focus on education in emergencies and protracted crises.
Practical Action is an innovative international development organisation putting ingenious ideas to work so people in poverty can change their world.
